Boudoir photography is great, but it comes with some unspoken expectations that can make people feel like “it’s not for them” when in fact, EMPOWERMENT photography leaves it open for people to decide how, when, and where their story is being told!

Through the month of December I took a self portrait every day. These portraits taught me a lot about what I want and don’t want as I move forward into the new year. Who would’ve thought that a messy basement could yield so much wisdom?

I realized a little while ago that the term “boudoir photographer” no longer fit me or what I wanted to be known for. As I’ve expanded my calling, my purpose, and my passion to include things beyond the camera, it is also time to retired this label.
