A SERIES OF FLAWS

You are not a series of flaws to be avoided or fixed.

The Series of Flaws Youtube Series is my attempt to share the importance of representation, body diversity & inclusivity with my fellow photographers & those that desire to be photographed.

For too long, the photography industry, propelled by beauty standards, have managed to convince us that we need to be the ones to change before we are deserving of stepping in front of a camera - and that’s just not true. Photography as an art form cares not for false beauty standards (that change every 10-15 years) and this series is here to show that all bodies are wonderful and worthy of being photographed because people are wonderful and worthy.

FAQs

  • Do I have to sign a model release?

Yep! In exchange for a free photoshoot + images (valued at $4500) you will be required to sign a non-negotiable model release that gives me full rights to using your images + the video content on my website/youtube/social media/etc.

  • Do I have to be nude?

Nope. Because the intent of this series is for youtube/social media we will need to have coverage of most body bits. That being said, we may do some implied nude (fabric covering the body) so you may be nude IN the shoot, but not online.

  • When do you film these?

The shoots take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays - whatever is best for you! We will be filming/shooting at my home in NW Calgary and when its get to be closer to spring/summer we will be able to do some outdoor sessions as well!

  • Can I bring my partner/friend?

Absolutely, I will just say that they may have to sit in the living room while we shoot due to the space being so small, but they are welcome to hang out while we create!
