Marcella

A year ago I sent out a model call asking for folks who were ready to Dig Deep and work through their body image before coming in for their photo session and Marcella was one of the glorious humans that responded. I was super excited to have her back to the studio for the fact that she had attended my body image conversations, various projects, and participated in her own client session (She paid it off over TWO years! It was amaaazing!) I knew that since she had experienced Empowerment 1.0 with her first session, she would be ready for Empowerment 2.0. When she showed up with the glorious natural tones I was inspired to create a set out of my canvas backdrops and we set to work photographing her in a way that would help her see herself from a different perspective. You see, Marcella is standardly known for vibrant hair colors, colorful makeup, and her honest attitude - so when I suggested soft, muted and natural we pushed through some comfort zones. We were able to see her in her true Goddess form - glorious, magical, natural, and just….perfect.
