This is Golden

grey cotton candy clouds coast
the sharp, jutted edges of rock that has been forged and shaped
through experience
yet small smooth stones glimmer under cool waters
forged and shaped
through experience as well
sometimes sharp,
sometimes smooth,
experience is lasting
reflective green pools send clouds back to the sky
the smell of cedar and pine and pure oxygen
drift across the mossy ground
powerful pines stand alert
watching over the marsh & mist
this
is
Golden
