I Stripped On Stage and Bared My Soul

I wrote about the nerves about stripping down on stage, but I’ve just received the images back and I want to share them with you. Folks have seen some, but not all, so I wanted to give you a few extra to fill in the context. The interview essentially followed me through my body image starting with myself as young as 5 and bringing me into my late 30s. Each outfit corresponded to a feeling about my body I had at specific ages and while wearing a bunch of layers in the Arizona heat is not something I would recommend for most folks, it worked pretty well. Sue Bryce and I plan on recreating this without the time constraint nor pressure to coregraph the changes on stage to create a bigger interview project which I am excited about, but for now, enjoy these mid-interview images!
