Wild Woman, Wild Woman
She dances recklessly beneath Moon Mother
Her howls releasing the burdens that have been suffocating her
The Star Children sparkle with delight
as she dips her sacred body into the inky pools of cool water
Submerging herself into the watery womb of Mother Earth
She knows she is supported here
When she comes up for air she knows
Moon Mother will greet her where she’s at
There’s no room for judgment
what ifs
should dos
or
must haves
there is only this moment
Her body drips as her toes sink into the soft soil
She feels her roots attaching once again
This was her home
and this is still her home
Moon Mother smiles with knowing
as she watches Wild Woman close her eyes
She sends Wild Woman a gift
A cool night breeze that smells of dew + moonlight
Wild Woman breathes in Moon Mother’s gift
feeling inspired, alive and vibrant
she exhales and whispers
”Goodnight, Moon Mother”
She heads back towards her house
for there are dishes to be done
children to feed
and work to finish.
