Livin’ That Podcast Life

Ya know - it took me longer than it should have to get into podcasts. I think I was feeling holier than thou collecting my information via reading - yet not taking the time to read. What a silly goose I was being. Back in 2020 when the world shut down I started to listen to podcasts to help fuel my morning walks - I started my days with my “meetings with Gary V” as I listened to his weekly podcasts about entrepreneurship, living the dream, taking a chance and giving 0 fucks. It was what I needed to kick my ass to get outside and walk for about 1-2 hours.

As he interviewed guests who had podcasts, I found myself flitting over to their podcasts and enjoying the content they put out. Or they’d make book recommendations. Or course recommendations. And looking back it’s kinda funny that I avoided podcasts because at one point I was literally being interviewed on different podcasts AT LEAST once a month and I had started my own.

Since those long lost years, I’ve added a handful of podcasts to my circulation that have really stuck and I find myself always waiting for the next week/month’s episode to drop so I want to share those resources with you.

In no particular order, here are my favorite podcasts and you can find them wherever you listen to your podcasts - I get mine on Spotify:

Financial Feminist
The Expanded Podcast
The Man Enough Podcast
Quitted
John Maxwell Leadership Podcast
Beyond the Self with Africa Brooke
On Purpose with Jay Shetty

and of course, feel free to add my podcast to your line up if it isn’t already there: Tough Love Teri
