YEEHAW {PT 1}

This past week I had the pleasure of hanging out in Palm Springs with all my boudy buddies. We gathered together for The Boudoir Summit hosted by The Boudoir Album and spent 4 days playing, creating, learning, and growing together. A big reason I was attending (aside from sharing my knowledge) was that I wanted to hang out with my pal Lauren from Australia. Back in January, Lauren and I bonded over our love of “Lady Western” to the point that we both got matching tattoos to symbolize the Universe Decides photoshoot we did there together (I still haven’t blogged those, but this is a reminder to do that - lol) Since Lauren would be coming to the US of A, particularly the desert, what better place for her to truly tap into her Lady Western vibe? She visited an amazing vintage shop on the main drag of Palm Springs and managed to find a pair of leather assless chaps for her to wear, in addition to a sweet fringe leather jacket - it was PERFECT. Now, this first shoot found us chasing the sun after a long and joyful day of hanging out with other photographers. Thanks to my buddy Amy, we drove up into the hills and she introduced us to this glorious plot of land to create before the sun went down. We had maybe 30 minutes in total, plus there were 2 of them I would photograph (Taylah’s will come later!) For now, enjoy our USA rendition of “Lady Western” on a hilltop.
