Just A Bunch Of Self Portraits - 5.15

This particular self portrait session was inspired by this glorious marketplace find! For $50 this floral chair became my favorite piece of furniture and naturally, upon getting it into the studio, I needed to shoot. Thankfully, I had a cute little yellow bra and panty set from Shein which worked perfectly. As soon as I got to the studio, the sun was shining, however as soon as I set up my tripod and camera a storm rolled in and these images took on a dark moody look - which I am not upset about. I got a few shots where the sun peeked through the clouds, where I was able to use the sun shining through the lace to create some cool effects on my skin!

Tip: For shooting “dark and moody” - you want to shoot TOWARDS your light source and expose for the brightest part of the image so everything else falls into the shadows.
