European Adventures: Venice
After Geneva, Aroha and I took the train down to Venice and while we only had 1 full day to explore we made the most of it when we met up with our friend Jen! Aroha and I took the water taxi to Rialto bridge and maneuvered our way through the tiny streets to find our little airbnb and Jen. Once we got settled, we decided to head out on the town and eat some delicious food and explore St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto area. Venice is so full of texture and color which is a photographer’s dream. With the waterstained buildings, the tiny alleys, the beautiful skies, there are photos to be taken around every corner. The square had flooded, so we had the opportunity to wade through the canal waters to get back to our airbnb, but it’s best not to think about what is in the canal water when you undertake such an adventure. This part of our adventure was quite short as it was just an overnight for us to get to the airport the next day to get on the bus to head up to Castello Ceconi for the Graphistudio Workshop with Sue Bryce, Kara Marie, and myself! After all, while this was an adventure - there was still work to be done!
Tomorrow, I will share my experience of the workshops and being at the castle because it was life changing for me in many ways!
