Who were you when you were younger?

And who are you now?

I was listening to Meghan Markle’s podcast Archetypes and this is a question that they asked. I thought it was a beautifully simple way to do an audit on how far removed from our true selves we are (or how close!) At this point in my life, I think I’ve done a pretty good job of getting myself back to who I was. I was creative, joyful, imaginative, messy, emotional, empathetic, sympathetic, visionary, poetic, and relatively self assured. Between being a child and who I am now, I lost sight of that for a wee bit in search of fame & fortune like so many of us do but I am happy that I have been honoring this little version of myself by playing, going to concerts she would have loved, spending time alone, creating almost daily, imagining, writing, making a mess, etc. So, I want to ask you:

Who were you when you were younger?
And how can you get back to that person?
