35 Minutes South East Dreamy Spandex

Before I left on tour I had one more Universe Decides shoot to do so I reached out to my friend Micah to see if she’d be up for an impromptu shoot. Thankfully, she said yes and I sent her photos of the cards which determined that we would have to:

Drive: 35 minutes
Direction: SE
Time: 3:30pm
Mood: Dreamy
Wardrobe Spandex

The funny thing was thinking about how we could do a dreamy session with spandex as our wardrobe, but it turns out I had kept one of the robes I made for the studio which happened to be made of sparkly nude spandex! Perfect! Immediately, I had this vision for a tan on tan on tan kind of vibe, unsure of where we would end up. As we set off on our journey, we quickly realized we would be out of the city and we actually ended up at at Manitoba Hydro substation lol. However, next to the power station was a plot of long grasses, wheat, and tan foliage which was absolutely perfect - plus the substation provided us a safe place to park the car!

With my vision for the tan on tan, I ended up bringing a gold framed mirror and a bag of shells that I had from a self portrait session I had done - I could see that I was moving in the direction of “land locked mermaid” vibes and it totally paid off what I saw the little plot of land the Universe provided us!
