Nostalgically Futuristic

When Ryan and I headed to LA, I packed a roll of Lomography Purple film - a film stock that essentially changes the colors of whatever it photographs. For example, anything green would become purple. Anything pink would become orange. Anything blue would become cyan and so on. I loaded the film into my Canon EOS Elan II to see what would come of it and I am OBSESSED. I will be purchasing more of this film for future trips because of the wild look. To me, the color changes make everything slightly apocalyptic, but also vintage but also futuristic but also retro….I don’t know. The same feeling I get looking at these photos is the same feeling I get listening to Moby, if that makes sense? Anyhow, check out the wildness of LA & the gorgeous Carrie Anne Kelly below:
