European Adventure: Florence

After our incredible workshops, Aroha, Jen and I headed to Florence from Venice and settled into the cutest airbnb. We booked a spot that was away from the tourist area, but still walkable to everything. Florence has this really beautiful energy to it - it’s slow, relaxed, and yet still incredibly vibrant. Everywhere you look there is historical buildings with gorgeous frescoes behind plexiglass on the street. For the few days we were there, we just wandered around - taking in the street art, incredible food (I literally had a ravioli that changed my damn life), and marvelling at the history while also giving ourselves some down time from workshop. After a few days in Florence, we took the train to Bologna where we spent a few hours in the park before catching our flight to Athens.

Tomorrow is the final instalment in THIS European adventure! So make sure to check back for Athens!
