The 4 Path Framework
The 4 Path Framework names a consistent pattern people move through during periods of change and transition.
Not as a straight line, but as a cycle that repeats across a lifetime.
These four paths reflect how identity, mindset, and capacity reorganize when old strategies stop working and something new is forming:
The Descent — deconstruction, awareness, and letting go
The Valley — compassion, mindset shifts, and integration
The Climb — confidence, visibility, and capacity-building
The Summit — leadership, stewardship, and sustained presence
Rather than treating these phases as problems to fix or push through, the framework approaches each path as a necessary stage with its own work, skills, and pace.
When people understand where they are, frustration gives way to orientation.
Instead of getting stuck or self-critical, they’re able to respond intentionally, choosing practices and supports that match the path they’re on.
All education and programs offered here use the 4 Path Framework to help people navigate change with clarity, compassion, and agency without pathologizing the process or rushing the outcome.
Important to note: You don’t move through these paths once.
You move through them many times with different content, deeper skill, and more self-trust each time.
FIGURE OUT WHAT PATH YOU’RE ON:
The Descent
(Deconstruction · Awareness · Letting go)
People here are often confused, grieving, or quietly restless.
You may be in the Descent if you’re asking:
What used to work for me — and why doesn’t it anymore?
What am I questioning that I never questioned before?
Where do I feel resistance, grief, or disorientation rather than clarity?
What expectations, roles, or identities feel heavier than they used to?
Am I trying to return to an old version of myself that no longer fits?
The Valley
(Compassion · Mindset shifts · Integration)
People here often feel tender, self-critical, or impatient with the pace.
You may be in the Valley if you’re asking:
Why do I know what’s happening, but still feel stuck?
Why does self-criticism show up most when I’m trying to grow?
What would it mean to stop pushing and start staying with myself?
Where do I need new skills, not more insight?
How do I treat myself when I don’t have clear answers yet?

The Climb
(Confidence · Visibility · Capacity-building)
People here feel energy returning, alongside fear of being visible again.
You may be in the Climb if you’re asking:
How do I move forward without burning myself out?
What does visibility look like after everything I’ve learned?
Where am I ready to act — but still hesitant?
How do I build confidence that isn’t performance-based?
What capacity do I need in order to sustain this next level?
The Summit
(Leadership · Stewardship · Sustained presence)
You may be in the Summit if you’re asking:
How do I hold responsibility without losing myself?
What kind of leadership feels ethical and sustainable now?
How do I stay connected to my values as my influence grows?
Where am I being asked to mentor, guide, or steward others?
What does success look like when I’m no longer proving anything?
