Your Body Was Always Good.

This is for the people who have lost weight or are in the process of losing weight.

Your body was always good.

Yes. Even when it was soft. Even when it was round. Smushy. Flabby. Treated poorly by the world. Pinched between your own fingers. Even when it was big and large and teased.

Your body was good.

The body you have now is the same body you had before ~ it just might be smaller, more muscular, more lean, more in alignment with the beauty standard. But it’s the same body.

And that body is ~ and was ~ a good body.

It’s not a new body.

It’s the same old good body.

It’s not a body that was “waiting to be revealed.”

It’s the same good body that has always done what you have asked.

The only thing that changed? What you asked. What you put into it. What you asked it to do. How you moved it. How you listened to it (or didn’t, in some cases). The body that had more weight is the same body that has less weight. It just adapted.

As good bodies are want to do.

So, don’t shame what was ~ because then you are shaming what is.

Because it’s the same good body.
