Therapeutic Experience Prep Guide
We wanted to put together this little prep guide to help you get ready for your session to make it the best, most amazing, ridiculously awesome experience....like, ever. Scroll on to check out our tips!
NOW
*Start stretching out those back and shoulder muscles so that you will be less sore for your session!! Check out our YOGOIR video HERE!
*Start thinking about what you might want to wear. For these sessions, less is more - push past your comfort zone a wee bit. The intent behind these mini sessions is to connect your mind and your body.
ONE WEEK OUT
*Start drinking lots of water! It will make your skin look luminous!
*Do any waxing or intense hair removal that you feel necessary (we are pro hair here, so if it’s there it stays in the photo!)
*Start getting your lingerie pieces together :D Remember, that you can bring as much as you want and if you aren't sure about anything, your photographer will go through and select 1-2 outfits that will look the best in photographs! Again, these experiences are about YOU and your body so I recommend nude or basics!
Fill out your DIG DEEP QUESTIONNAIRE as much or as little as you desire. The more you put into it, the more you will probably get out. We encourage journaling any additional emotions, stories, thoughts that pop up during your experience. In addition, if you work with a therapist, it might be beneficial to share your findings with them.
DAY BEFORE
*Pack all your things
*Get a good night's sleep
*Map out location and parking to the studio (70 Arthur St Unit 570), we recommend parking in a nearby lot on Weekdays & Saturdays and on Sundays, you can park for free out front! Put my number in your phone: 204 390-3343 (the door is locked on weekends!)
*Get excited!!
DAY OF
Show up no earlier or later than 10 minutes before you scheduled shoot time (ie. if you are schedule at 10am, don't show up earlier than 9:50 or later than 10:10). If you need to get a hold of us, please msg (204) 390-3343.
*If coming in for a weekday or Saturday shoot, make sure you park in a nearby parking lot or parkade! Sunday is free street parking!!
*Eat a good breakfast (fainting is not sexy)
*Do some light stretching, especially for your lower back! (trust me)
*Come “shoot ready” which means you will need to arrive hair and makeup ready as it is NOT included in your session fee!
*Let us take care of you for the next 30 minutes!

distracting ourselves and start
having honest conversations
