Sunday Phone Drop: 10.23
Our second week of Body Image Bootcamp chickadees have fled the roost (just in time for the hurricane to show up!) but this past week was magical! A new group of 7 cuties got together to work through their body image insecurities and improve their self love by holding space for each other. I did, however, do something different this year: I ACTUALLY WENT TO TOWN! I try to avoid town as much as possible because it is so freakin hot, but also the walk back up is exhausting - however, I decided to bop down to town to check out the local shops to grab some bags for the upcoming week’s humans! We saw some beautiful murals, the ocean up close, and a fair amount of doggos. If you haven’t read my post the other day, we also succumbed to a lot of challenges this week: earthquakes, covid, aaaaand the pending hurricane -BUT our attendees were incredibly respectful, lovely, and still managed to laugh and smile through all of it! Today, after everyone left, I took a few moments to grab some selfies just using my phone to take advantage of the lovely flowers just in case the hurricane blew them off the shrubs. Other than that, we had another week of tasty food prepared by Aurora, our very talented personal chef, beautiful weather for swimming and photoshoots, and some really amazing moments with friends! We have 1 more week here in Mexico, with next week being an entirely different course + my mom and sister are coming!!
