FROM THE ARCHIVES: Trans-Atlantic Holidays - Italy -> Florida

This past October/November Ryan and I took off for a 3 week vacation and cruise that took us to Rome, Naples, France, and Spain! While the tour was a bit longer than ideal for my distracted brain, I enjoyed checking out the Colosseum and upon getting to the top, noticed that the layout looks very much like a vagina….coincidence? Methinks not. After a few days bopping about Rome, we took 2 trains to Naples to visit Pompeii, one of my bucket list destinations. Since hearing about the history of Pompeii in my first year of university, I was super excited to finally step foot in the little city and walk about the historical ruins. Of course, my favorite spot was the brothel - each “room” has a picture above it showcasing the specialty “position” of each woman. Specialization is the key to efficiency! After our Italian adventures, we got onto our cruise ship and landed at a few different ports before setting sail for Florida. Being on the cruise ship was amazing for my mental health: limited internet, LOTS of quiet time, and I got bronchitis so I had to quarantine myself and it gave me a lot of time to think, plan, strategize, and get real with myself. Travel is good for my soul and while 3 weeks was a long time to be away, it WAS definitely needed.
