Lomo Purple Film

As a film photographer, I relish in the joy of trying different film stocks and seeing what they look like. I think that’s my favorite part of film photography - not knowing what’s going to happen, but loving the results regardless. Somewhere in my career, I had forgotten that this is actually what creativity is about: experimentation, playing, exploring, curiosity, and joy in the process with the outcome being exciting because you did something. For this roll I started with it in Vegas, capturing some of the glorious humans and locations and then capped it off with some imagery of my pal Karen in an impromptu spring session in my basement! I got my Lomo Purple film from here if you want to try out a roll for yourself! (Oh and these were shot on my Canon EOS Elan II)
